Current Limitations

!!! danger "Public File Links" Links are visible in the frontend source/network tab after payment. A sophisticated buyer could theoretically scrape them. Version 2 will introduce encryption-based gating.

!!! danger "Zero DRM" We do not control the files once they are downloaded. If someone wants to re-upload your ebook to a torrent site, they can. Digital scarcity is hard; ZeroCut prioritizes delivery over lockdown.

!!! danger "No Chargebacks" Payments are direct wallet-to-wallet. There is no middleman to reverse a transaction. You trust the creator; the creator trusts you.

The Fine Print

• Ghosting: If a creator deletes their JSON file or moves their wallet, the store "breaks." There is no central support team to fix it.
• Crypto Only: No credit cards. No Apple Pay. Just raw on-chain settlement.
• Latency: Blockchain speed varies. Buyers must stay on the page until confirmation.
